About our Ciders
Our premium cider is made from one special variety of cider apple, the best in our orchard - Dabinett - it's not rocket science
All the cider apples used in Isaac Cider are grown on the family farm in West Dorset near Bridport/Beaminster in the South West of England
The Orchards were planted in 1972 by Isaac Newton's great, great (x7) nephew - our Grandfather!
We harvest our apples in November, get them pressed locally and then carefully ferment the juice in our cider barns over the winter, checking regularly on their progress. When the fermented juice is tasting great we get it straight in the bottle no fussing about with concentrates
Our Alchemy juice is held to age in our tanks for a few months longer to encourage a bit more character to emerge, just like Isaac Newton - brilliance takes time
We have a range of sparkling ciders and still ciders. Come for a cider tasting at our cider farm shop in Dorset
